The MFDA LEADERSHIP ACADEMY experience enables both experienced and emerging leaders to excel – now and into the future.

Participants will learn leadership concepts and proven techniques, as well as gain important insights into the Minnesota Funeral Directors Association.

MFDA Leadership Academy is open to anyone in the funeral industry with at least two or more years of experience within the funeral service.

To apply to be part of our Leadership Academy, please complete the form below, or download a printable PDF application to complete and email mtufto@mnfuneral.org or mail to the MFDA office (7046 East Fish Lake Road, Maple Grove, MN 55311). Application deadline is Friday, August 30, 2024.

Funeral Director CEU certificates will be awarded for class sessions after Leadership Academy graduation.

PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS:

Full participation and mandatory attendance at all scheduled programs and events through the state is required for participation in the Leadership Academy.

All costs associated with participation in the Leadership Academy will be covered with tuition, other than any travel (mileage) or overnight expense, which will be paid for by the firm or individual:

$300 MFDA member tuition
$1,000 non-member tuition (includes a one year MFDA Individual membership valued at $500)

Tuition scholarships are available for MFDA members - please send a note with your application to make a request.
