Callyn Becker Attorney at Law, Bedker Law Callyn has been in practice In Minnesota and Iowa specializing in estate planning and long-term care planning. She serves clients by providing legal guidance in the areas of estate planning, Medicaid, in home care , business and succession planning. She received her bachelor's degree from the University of Minnesota and her juris doctor degree in 2015 from University of St. Thomas School of Law, Minneapolis. She has served as Chair and Vice Chair of the Elder Law Section of the MN Bar Association from 2021-2023. She is the current Chairperson of the Medical Assistance Committee. She and her husband reside in Redwood Falls with their two daughters. Don Strickland Implementation and Training Specialist, Funeral Directors Life Don Strickland joined Funeral Director's Life in 2015 to work with select producers as a Director of Sales Development. He has a BBA in management, master’s degree in human resource management and have begun doctoral work in organizational leadership. He is a fourth-generation funeral professional and has his CFSP designation. He is also a licensed general lines insurance agent with over 35 years of management and family ownership experience. His specific experience includes new start-ups and market expansions, business operations, and risk and strategic planning. He joined the Learning & Development team in 2018 and is now the Director of Professional Development. He specifically works to research, create, and implement funeral director and insurance CEU training, and specializes in end-of-life and technology education, Wolfelt ‘Why of Funeral’ and ethics training, hospice educational initiatives, and guest lectures at mortuary science programs. Don lives in Texas, is married and has three children and six grandsons. *Please note, as required by the MN Dept of Commerce a survey question must be answered live every 50 minutes of class to track your attendance to receive CEUs.
