Funeral Directors: 1 OSHA Training/1 Regulations & Ethics or 1 Body Prep, Care, or Handling CEU

 

Transfer Care Specialists: 1 CEU

 

A transfer care specialist (TCS) must complete three (3) hours of continuing education annually on content described in clauses (1) to (3) below and submit evidence of completion with the individual's registration renewal.

(1) ethical care and transportation procedures for a deceased person;
(2) health and safety concerns to the public and the individual performing the transfer of the deceased person, and the use of universal precautions and other reasonable precautions to minimize the risk for transmitting communicable diseases; and
(3) all relevant state and federal laws and regulations related to the transfer and transportation of deceased persons.

 

Registration Fee:

MFDA Member Funeral Director or Transfer Care Specialist: FREE

Non-Member Funeral Director or Transfer Care Specialist: $150

 

On the registration page you are not required to login as a member to register for OSHA Training unless you have a member login.  It is only a recommendation to login, NOT A REQUIREMENT.

 

You will receive a Zoom Webinar link via email by Tuesday, December 10 for OSHA Training. This webinar will be a pre-recorded OSHA Training video produced by OSHA Trainer Mark Arnold and proctored by MFDA.


Webinar Requirements:

  • Attending virtually requires the use of the webinar platform Zoom - please be sure you have the current version of Zoom downloaded on your computer, tablet, or phone before the training date.
  • You must be logged in to Zoom to track your attendance for the entire session.

Your CEU certificate will be emailed to you within one (1) business day (by Thursday, December 12).

 

Cancellation Policy: We have a 100% refund policy if you are unable to attend for any reason. To receive your full refund, please email info@mnfuneral.org 24 hours before the session begins.
