MFDA Central Fall CEU Conference (formerly known as District 8 Meeting) 

You may be wondering, "What are MFDA Fall CEU Conference?"  These conferences make it possible to meet our member (and non-member) funeral directors near their funeral home areas and provide them with important industry updates from our presenters while receiving CEUs, along with social time for visiting with fellow industry professionals, and learn more about MFDA member benefits.

All MFDA member staff are invited to attend a Fall CEU Conference free of charge (additional fee for lunch varies by meeting location - see registration page for more details) at any location that works for their schedule.

Funeral directors can receive up to 6 CEUs at each Fall Conference!

Non-Members OSHA Training Only: $150

Non-Members Fall CEU Conference: $250

1:00pm-1:30pm MFDA Legislative Update (.5 General CEU)

1:30pm-2:20pm "Embalming of a Decomposition Case" by Lincoln Plain, Dodge Representative, Eastern North Dakota & Minnesota (1 Body Prep CEU)*
This program covers helpful techniques to properly embalm and preserve tissue on a decomposition case with the end result of stabilizing the body for a viewing. It will cover procedures to treat skin slip and sunken eyes as well as a difficult mouth closure. 

2:30pm-3:20pm "Cosmetics on a Decomposition Case" by Lincoln Plain, Dodge Representative, Eastern North Dakota & Minnesota (1 Body Prep CEU)*
This program will cover techniques to cauterize and bleach dark bruising and torn skin along with rehydrating dehydrated tissue, using Inr Seel putty to fix problem areas, waxing tips and apply cosmetics for a final viewing.

*Please note, these presentations are the same as were offered at MFDA's Convention in May at St Louis Park and can only be counted once if you attended Convention.
