Description: Please join us for an upcoming webinar discussing the results and policy implications of the recent funeral practice research project conducted by Dr. Michael LuBrant, Director of the Program of Mortuary Science at the University of Minnesota.  

The Webinar consists of two parts:

• 2:30PM - 3:20PM - Prof. LuBrant will discuss with attendees the results of the research
• 3:20PM - 3:30PM - Break
• 3:30PM - 4:30 PM - Leaders from the Minnesota Funeral Directors Association will discuss policy implications and proposed updates to 149a, based on the findings of this research.

Cost:  There is no cost to attend the webinar, however licensees wishing to receive CEU units will be charged $25 for 1 CEU unit, or $50 for two CEU units, the monies received being used to benefit mortuary science student activities within the Program.  CEU units are as follows:

1. Minnesota: Up to 2 CEU credits, applicable to the following categories:
   1. Professional Practices
   2. Regulation and Ethics
2. Wisconsin
   1. In accordance with WI Continuing Education Policy, Category 2: Professional conduct, business ethics or legal aspects specifically related to practice in the profession (up to 2 credits).
