Presenter Bios

Callyn Bedker

Attorney at Law, Pluto Boes Legal, PLLC

Callyn T. Bedker joined the firm in 2016. Callyn is licensed to practice law in Minnesota. She received her undergraduate degree in Political Science, Global Studies and History from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis in 2012 and her Juris Doctor from the University of St. Thomas School of Law in 2015. Callyn is from Buffalo, Minnesota and currently lives in Olivia, Minnesota with her husband, Alex. In her free time she enjoys running, attending auctions and spending time with her family and friends.

Terri Bannister

EVP of Learning and Development, Funeral Directors Life

Terri Bannister serves as EVP and Chief Learning Officer for Funeral Directors Life Insurance Company. Terri has over 35 years of experience facilitating insurance, management and sales training, and 30 of those years have been in the insurance industry. She holds the FLMI (Fellow, Life Management Institute), ASC (Associate, Customer Service) and ALHC (Associate, Life and Health Claims) insurance designations. She was in the first Certified Preneed Counselor class offered by the national Funeral Service Foundation, receiving her designation in 1996, and sat on the national Funeral Service Foundation Board of Trustees for three years. She is a graduate of Hollins University in Virginia with a BA in Educational Psychology and went on to receive her MA in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Southern Illinois University.
