Allied Members - What type of visibility benefits are there as an MFDA Allied Member?

• MFDA’s quarterly magazine (the Bulletin) is rated as one of the top valued member benefits. To advertise, Allied Members receive a discount on 1/8-page ads to full-page ads. You will also receive a copy mailed to you. The Bulletin is mailed to all MFDA members and industry partners, as well as available to view online.

• MFDA Allied Members will be listed in our online membership directory. 

• MFDA Allied Members are listed in the Bulletin.

• Allied Members can purchase banner ads on MFDA’s Online Community (OC). The OC is a members-only community for all MFDA members - we post current and urgent news and information important to the funeral industry. There are more than 350 members of the OC, and you will have access to the OC with your membership.

• MFDA’s Annual Convention: Discounted exhibitor registration fees for our Allied Members. 

• Convention Sponsorship opportunities will be highlighted in the Convention & Expo prospectus and posted on our website, www.mnfuneral.org this January.

• Virtual educational opportunities provided by MFDA will present new sponsorship opportunities for Allied Members. We are always looking for industry presenters for these virtual events!
  

MFDA membership structure includes the following categories:

Firm - membership pricing includes three components: 

• Firm - $500
• Branches- $330/per branch
  
• #of death cases, excluding children and welfare cases- $8.50/per case
  

Individual - Open to licensed funeral directors who are not owners and work for a funeral home who is not an MFDA member - $500

Associate - Open to funeral homes with their main location in a surrounding state (North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, and Wisconsin) - $500

Allied - Companies that sell goods and services to the funeral industry - $400

Emeritus - Retired funeral directors with no affiliation with a member firm - $150

Student - Individuals who are currently enrolled in a recognized School of Mortuary Science (Must provide Mortuary Science School name) - Free
